Each of the last few meetings between Phileppe Senderos and Didier Drogba, to say that Drogba came out on top would be an understatment.

But as the Gunners clash with Chelsea on Sunday, Arsene Wenger has tipped Senderos to come out on top for a change.

Drogba has been, lets face it, rubbish in previous season and yet still got the better of Phil, but this time the Ivorian striker is in the form of his life. Worrying no?

However, Wenger doesn’t share my worries and reckons it’s Senderos’ time to shine.

‘It will be a challenge but Senderos will play, he’s had some tough games against Drogba. He can show he has improved a lot from last year.’ said Wenger

‘He had some very good games in the Champions League last season. We didn’t concede for 10 games so I’m very confident he will do well.’

‘Drogba is playing well but this is part of a learning process. Today, Senderos is more experienced and he can show that against Drogba.’

‘I’m not worried about the situation. Drogba has got better and Senderos has as well. Who has improved the most? We’ll answer that on Sunday.’
