Semi Final Team News – 2 Out, 1 In & a Goalie

Arsene Wenger has dished up the pre-FA Cup semi final team news with a little dash of selection news thrown in.

Arsenal`s injury record has been horrific in recent years yet now it seems as though we`re having a sustained period of not-injury-ness-stuff. The Arsenal manager has almost a full complement of players for the semi final against Reading with only two players out and Wilshere returning.

Wenger said “We have a big squad available for selection and we just have Arteta (match fitness) and Oxlade-Chamberlain (groin) unavailable. Everybody else should be alright.”

“He`s [The Ox] at least two weeks away”

“He [Wilshere] has improved physically and I think he is available for selection on Saturday.”

The Arsenal boss also revealed that Wojciech Szczęsny will continue in goal in the FA Cup as long as Ospina maintains his PL place.

“It will be Szczęsny [who plays] on Saturday.”

“But he has played in the last round. This season he has played at Man United and he had a very good performance. I believe it`s important that the two goalkeepers get competition and he will get competition in the FA Cup now, as long as Ospina plays in the Premier League.”
