It’s being reported this afternoon that Alexis Sanchez’s proposed move to Manchester United hinges on whether Henrikh Mkhitaryan will move in the opposite direction.
With Manchester City pulling out of a move for Sanchez over the speculated £35million fee Arsenal are demanding, the BBC believe United are in pole position to capture the player but they believe from sources that neither club will sanction a deal unless Mkhitaryan is open to the move.
They say that their sources further suggest that the 28 year old Armenian is weighing up his options but is certainly in no rush to make a final decision.
With Chelsea continuing to be linked to Sanchez, it’s believed he has already agreed terms with United.
We continue to be linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but we haven’t yet made a formal offer for him.
