With Bayern Munich the latest to be linked with Alexis Sanchez and Barcelona links continuing for Hector Bellerin, both players – in their own – have commented loosely on that speculation.
Beginning with Sanchez, he’s quoted by Sky Sports as saying that his future is in the hands of his agent who knows what he wants to do, his focus at the moment is purely on the Confederations Cup.
‘I’m looking at what my agent is doing. For now, I’m focused on the Confederations Cup in Russia and trying to do well. The truth is that my agent will see to it. He knows and he will sit down with the club to look for the best option for me. I’d like a lot of things but I’m only thinking about the national team.’
Arsene Wenger’s point of view has consistently been Sanchez ‘won’t’ be sold this summer but there was the caveat of ‘unless’ you find somebody of the same calibre to replace him.
As for Bellerin, he continues to be linked to Barcelona – as he has done for most of the season – but the reports contain very little of value in general.
They all centre around the fact the 22 year old classes Barcelona as his boyhood club and there have even been tentative links to Manchester City.
With many outlets again speaking about a return to Spain, Bellerin seemed to sum that up pretty eloquently in the following tweet yesterday.
Don’t believe everything you read…

Having only signed a new deal at the club last November it would be a surprise to see him move on, at least at this stage.
