Arsenal’s Samir Nasri has been awarded the PFA Fans Player of the Month for October.

After being left out of French squad for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, the Gunners midfielder claimed he was hungrier than ever for success on the football pitch, and so far this season I don’t think anyone can argue against that after a string of fine performances.

Nasri has added goals and tracking back (for the most part) to the strings of his bow, and now looks to be one of the most inform players in the PL so far this season … indeed he’s about the only player who’s earned me any points in my very poor fantasy football team, so he must be doing well.

Nasri has suffered from inconsistencies and poor luck in the injury department since joining Arsenal back in 2008, but this season things really seem to be coming together for the Frenchman as he seeks to win his first piece of meaningful Silverware in an Arsenal shirt.

With an already healthy 7 goals in 11 games this season, keeping up his fine form for the rest of the season would go a long way to seeing us hold aloft one trophy or another.
