Tomas Rosicky is set to make his Arsenal return tomorrow against Aston Villa.

The Czech midfielder has been suffering from a groin injury for some time, but he looks to have recovered enough to play on Wednesday.

While that is fantastic news, there is also some bad news. Alex Hleb has suffered a knee injury and will miss the game.

Gael Clichy is suspended along with Kolo Toure, Manu Eboue and Manu Adebayor.

Mathieu Flamini and Justin Hoyte also return for the trip to Birmingham.

You can catch a full preview here later today.

  • Ah ballbags, I didn’t know the Hurricane was suspended too! Looks like Gallas left back, Djourou centre? Personally, I would like to see Diaby given a start in CM.

  • i second that call, he is a chance for some fringe players to stake a first team claim!!!wouldnt be surprised if traore played 2moro either

  • Mixed news there, I like it when Rosicky AND Hleb play for us, they both bring something positive. LD – mebbe flamini at LB? He seriously needs to think abt that IMO, coz the midfield looks rich right now. I’d love to see Diaby or Denilson to start, but with Henry out, Gilb has to start/captain. Unless Arsene decides to rest Cesc.

  • gilberto will play central with gallas, im sure wenger will want to give traore a go as he is our 2nd choice – djourou or hoyte at right back
    …ballbags!

  • My guess would be: Lehmann; Hoyte, Gilberto, Djourou, Gallas; Ljunberg, Denilson/Diaby/Flamini (?), Cesc, Rosicky; Walcott/Aliadiere, Baptista
