It’s not like we needed a nudge in that direction but Tomas Rosicky believes that Arsenal began to turn their season around with a victory at Old Trafford. And I agree.

Unfortunately for us, we had endured our worst ever start to a Premiership season and an away day at Man Utd didn’t exactly fill me with confidence for the upcoming few games.

But as we all know we recorded a famous win at Old Trafford with Adebayor scoring Arsenal’s first league goal at that ground since Wiltord’s famous league clincher, and we have now won 5 games on the bounce.

And Tomas has said what we’ve all been thinking, ‘Winning in Manchester was a big scalp for us,’ said Rosicky.

‘They had made a good start to the season, but we went there and won and we are still the only team to beat them so far this season.

‘That result set us up for the run we are now on. And it was a victory we deserved’

It certainly is a victory that will live long in the memory, and even more so should it propell us to League glory.

  • you will be there or there abouts come the end of the season , I have put money on you to win it !!!

  • I dont think i would put any money on anyone else except Chesea but teams will give them more competition this season.

  • constistent perfomance has been there from day 1.we havent turned in a poor game yet we just werent finishing teams off which is what were doing now. all this with henry at 70% and our defence still sorting themselves out. when he gets to 95%+ we will terrorise everyone.

  • it’s only three wins on the trot in the league and other than manu our opposition has been poor (in the bottom three). yes when everything comes together we will terrorise the rest of the league, but that’s not the case yet. a big win with a real swagger against a team that is not sitting at the bottom of the league may well be a turning point. i think we need to wait another 5 games or so before citing turning points, it’s just too early to say.

  • titi dont forget in this league no win comes easy…for arsenal it is easier to win against bigger opponents than weaker ones coz they just all crowd box and dont attack …if yu look at it we beat 3 good sides -hamburg,porto,man u as well as 2 weaker ones but they all put up a good fight….when man u was still100percent they had played the weakest of sides and guess what sir alex was talking about we gonna win the p league and the champions league….

  • i agree – we’ve been turning in consistent performances since day 1. its starting to turn around, no one is saying we have turned around yet coz there’s still a long way to go. Bu the signs are there, which is good.
