Fabio Capello has labelled Arsenal target Nicolo Barella as the best player in Serie A on current form.
The Gunners are said to be interested in making a move for the Internazionale midfielder, who is set to be offered a new deal by the San Siro giants in a bid to ward off interest.
In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb, the former England manager compared the ace to legendary Italian ace Marco Tardelli.

Barella has been a revelation for Inter as Antonio Conte’s side look to launch a title charge against the likes of Juventus and rivals, AC Milan. His form this season has been red-hot with the Italy international having scored two goals and assisted a further six in the top-flight.
Compared to Arsenal’s midfield options, the 23-year-old comes out head and shoulders on top in the goal contribution category. The Gunners’ central men have combined for one goal and two assists from the middle of the pitch, a meagre total compared to Barella.
He also possesses a similar threat on the ball to Thomas Partey having been fouled 1.7 times per league game, showing how menacing he proves.
Arsenal are in desperate need for better options in the middle of the pitch with the current options barely scratching the surface in terms of usefulness. Barella represents a great option in both age and quality on the pitch.
