Report: Arsenal interested in £6.3m-rated ace who downed Real Madrid in Champions League

|

Arsenal are interested in making a move for Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Manor Solomon in the summer transfer window, according to The Guardian.

The publication are claiming that the Gunners have held initial talks with the player’s representative over a move and that the club may firm up their interest during pre-season.

It has also claimed that the ace is most likely to remain with the Ukrainian club this month, despite widespread interest in the winger.

Should Arsenal sign Manor Solomon in the summer?

Yes

No

Solomon has been in sensational form for the European side during the course of the last two season, mostly catching the eye in the Champions League. He’s contributed three goals in six Champions League games this campaign, including the winning goal in the winning goal against Real Madrid.

His dribbling ability is what has really caught the eye in Europe’s premier competition. The Israel international averages 2.7 dribbles per game and has been fouled 1.5 times per game.

He’s a figure who strikes fear into defences and with Arsenal lacking some consistent threat on the wings, he would seem an ideal signing. The likes of Willian and Nicolas Pepe have proven nothing short of failures and need to be replaced with the £6.3m-rated who seems an ideal solution.

In other news, Darren Bent has urged the club to let these two defenders leave the club this month.
