Arsenal lifted the FA Cup for a record 13th time earlier this evening against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium.

Goals from Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey gave us the two one victory on the day and Arsene Wenger now goes down as the most successful manager in the competitions history with seven Cup Final victories and of course with how Arsenal’s season has gone, the curtain comes down on 2016/17 campaign with something to smile about.

Plenty will moan about Alexis’ opener given the offside flag being shown for Aaron Ramsey’s position, but under the rules the goal was rightly awarded by the referee but plenty will also point to the fact Arsenal should’ve been clear and comfortable come the half time break.

So discussions about Victor Moses’ dive and Ramsey having to give us the lead for the second time after they had drawn level will play out nicely in the press, but we were worthy winners.

Now we see what the summer brings and especially Arsene Wenger’s future which should be clear by next week.
