Arsenal right back, ‘Ralph’ Lauren has set his sights on a comeback within 6 weeks.

The Arsenal defender suffered a knee injury in Janurary and has not played a minute since, missing out on the Champions League final in the process.

But now there is light at the end of the tunnel as his knee is improving everyday.

‘So far everything I have done is going well, the knee is responding well,’ he told Arsenal.com. ‘At the moment we are looking at probably one and a half months, two months maximum, until I can play again.’

Manu Eboue has been a more than able deputy for Lauren and the ex Cameroon international is pleased that everything has gone so well for his collegue and club, and he has no concerns that Eboue has played so excellently.

‘Emmanuel is a very nice guy and I’m very happy for him because he’s been fantastic. I feel proud because he’s a young player and will keep improving in every part of his game. It will be difficult for me to get my place back but I am not worried.’

Having two great players for one position is never a bad thing.
