Manager-less Bolton hopefully will travel down to the Grove today for our infamous game in hand. Two points behind Manchester United and a further two behind league leaders Chelsea. I’m praying we’ll get the okay from Soho Square to move on with tonight’s important fixture.

Vital Quotes:

After five wins and a tie in the league during December. Arsene is talking up the importance of momentum.

“What happened at Liverpool is that we were 1-0 down and we won 2-1” Arsene said.

“That was more down to the quality and the mental strengths and response from the players than to my team talk.”

“I think the team gets strength from its history. From that [Liverpool game] they have certainly learnt that they can change things if they really believe they can and it happened again on Sunday against West Ham.”

Arsenal Team News:

Almunia, Denilson, Arshavin, Nasri, Diaby, and Traore will return to the lineup from Sunday’s FA Cup tie at Upton Park. Fabregas and Bendtner will be back for the return leg on the 17th at the Reebok.

Predicted Starting XI: Almunia, Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen, Traore, Denilson, Diaby, Ramsey, Nasri, Eduardo, Arshavin

Player to watch: Aaron Ramsey

What else can you say about the kid? He’s been exactly what we needed since Cesc limped off against Villa. He’ll face a big test against the ruff-em-up Bolton tactics.

Bolton Team News:

Jussi Jaaskelainen will return to the starting lineup, while Chris Evans and Steve Wigley will lead the Wanderers on the sideline.

Player to watch: Lee Chung-Yong

I’ve seen a handful of good goals from this guy, and he scored a nice goal over the weekend. I could see him being up for the big game.

Ref Watch:

Howard Webb. I really hate him.

Match Prediction:

I’ll say 3-1 or 4-1. The game at the Reebok next week will be the tougher match.
