Premier League star favours move to Arsenal over other top-flight clubs, according to football.london

Arsenal’s interest in Brighton and Hove Albion star Yves Bissouma is genuine, according to football.london.

The Brighton man is thought to be open to a move to the Emirates Stadium with the publication claiming he’d favour them over any other Premier League outfit.

It has also been reported that the north London giants have made contact with the player’s agent over a potential move, which would be in the summer as opposed to this month.

Should Arsenal sign Yves Bissouma this month?

Yes

No

Having witness what seems to be an upturn in form from Granit Xhaka, it wouldn’t be the worst idea to carry on with the same midfield options until the summer transfer window.

The Gunners have more than enough firepower to get Champions League football, either through the Europa League or top four, if they relevant midfielders perform up to their high standards.

Dani Ceballos and Thomas Partey are players who can break the lines with their dribbling ability. Meanwhile, Xhaka’s passing range provides a different option from a player who sits just in front of the defence. And then you have Mohamed Elneny, whose endless energy and defensive nous allows for a great option off the bench when needing a player to close out games. However, should an injury crisis rear its head, then not making a move for Bissouma could risk Arsenal’s entire season.

A move for Bissouma would be a wonderful piece of business in the summer. His quality on the ball mixed with his defensive solidity makes him a no-brainer. And with so many teams retaining an interest in the player, hearing he would choose Arsenal removes any doubt over a potential transfer.

In other news, Mikel Arteta has claimed that one Arsenal star can revive his faltering season.
