The season might only be three months old in terms of the calendar, but with high expectations for some players when it comes to this year’s Assist King battle – here’s who stands out so far.
With Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne taking that title for 2016/17 he’ll have hopes of holding onto it, but plenty of other players will be looking forward to establishing themselves as a real team player and getting the recognition in the process.
There are more than enough games left for the table below to change so we’ll just have to see what happens.
With only eleven games played so far in the 2017/18 campaign I’ll limit the table to those who have three or more assists to their name so far this year.
