Lucas Perez’s Arsenal career has been stop-start for various reasons. With the former Deportivo La Coruna striker behind others in the pecking order he could leave this summer with AC Milan reportedly interested according to Il Messaggero, via calciomercato.com.

The £17m signing last summer is usually behind the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Alex Iwobi in Arsene Wenger’s thought process with his playing time limited this season.

Despite being limited to just 17 games the 28 year old has an impressive goals return of eight with him also setting up another five so the Spanish international wouldn’t be short of offers if he did decided to cut short his Arsenal stay.

With a place in Spain’s 2018 World Cup squad targeted the suggestion is Perez fears a lack of playing time next season will hamper these chances.

AC Milan are reportedly interested in him but only if they fail to land ‘top target’ Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Borussia Dortmund striker has himself been linked with the Gunners in the past too.

If Perez did leave he would cost AC Milan ?20m according to these claims.
