In his first season at Arsenal Mesut Ozil was strongly criticised not only his perceived lack of form but also for his work ethic.

Ozil has always been one of these players who to the naked eye don`t look like they do much however deeper analysis would suggest that is untrue. However despite being our best player this season as he closes in on Theirry Henry`s PL assist record, Ozil says he`s been working on his body language to ensure the fans know he`s giving 100%.

‘My goal is to make sure my body language is right, when I make a mistake, I get annoyed and you can tell from my body language. But these days I try to make sure I don’t do that anymore because in football you can make mistakes and play a bad pass.’

Maybe in seasons gone by it might have helped sway the fans, however we`re all now fully aware of just what sort of player he is and as long as he keeps on doing what he`s doing he won`t get many complaints from the terraces.
