Arsenal are represented in the latest League Cup Team of the Tournament that was selected ahead of Sunday’s show piece Final.

The performances by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain during Arsenal’s EFL Cup journey this season saw the midfielder impress sufficiently for him to take a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the League Cup competition.

I think we’ll already know ourselves why Oxlade-Chamberlain was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the EFL Cup blurb read.

‘With three goals to his name, it’s safe to say Oxlade-Chamberlain enjoyed a fruitful EFL Cup campaign for Arsenal. The England international netted a brace in Round Four to sink Reading, adding to his effort against Nottingham Forest in Round Three.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and congratulations to Oxlade-Chamberlain for his recognition.
