No Big Changes

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will not make any major changes to his side as they take their first steps in regaining the FA cup, but only because he can’t.

‘I will not make many changes because I do not have much choice,’ said Wenger.

Although one player in desperate need of a rest will get one.

‘Thierry Henry will not play, for example,’ and went on to add ‘but I hope to have Robin van Persie back and Freddie Ljungberg back, so they will play if they are ready. I will maybe rest Sol Campbell but Philippe Senderos will play.’

However, the French hitman has reiterated that he needs no such thing.

‘I don’t think I need a breather, although if the boss doesn’t want to play me, it’s another story.

‘I always like to be out there trying to help my team. So I always want to play. People keep on forgetting I missed six league games and three Champions League games.

‘I wasn’t used to that and I’m starting to get back into my usual shape. So I don’t know. The boss is the boss. If he takes a decision, then I will respect it.’
