Arsenal’s young Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner has said he’ll have no option but to look for another club if he cannot break into the Arsenal team, a report on SkySports, erm, reports.

Bendtner, already capped at full level by Denmark, finds his way to the promised land currently blocked by the likes of the double barreled shotguns of Adebayor and van Persie, and vies with Eduardo to replace one of the two of them in the starting line-up.

Bendtner, speaking to Danish newspaper BT, accepts he may have to wait a while, but also says that

It’s obvious that I don’t want to sit on the bench for two years.

There might be problems with my form in a few months, but I might also get more playing time.

I will stay at Arsenal to fight for my chance and in case it doesn’t work, I will join a different club permanently.

Denmark manager Morten Olsen chipped in with his two-penneth-worth about the situation, saying the young striker should get more playing time soon.
