Sami Nasri is just one of a number of Arsenal players to break a leg in recent history, but thankfully this leg break appears to have been the least complicated to mend as the player now is aiming to take to the field against West Ham, meaning Samir will have only missed 8 league matches of a 38 game calendar.

The diagnosis from the club had always been of a positive nature and indeed, for once, this appears to be the case.

‘I’m due to rejoin the Arsenal team this weekend, or at the start of next week and I think I will be back in action against West Ham on the 25th.’ said the Frenchman.

Nasri impressed the Ashburton faithful in his first season at Arsenal, the highlight of which was a brace in the 2-1 victory over Man Utd on home soil last year. I’m sure we’re all looking forward to seeing what he can do in this new set up.
