As the transfer window draws to a close, yet another has issued a ‘come and get me’ plea to Arsene Wenger.

Often, when pushed in press conferences regard players who want to leave Arsenal, Mr Wenger simply replies that he has more to worry about with players that want to join than leave, and French midfielder, Julien Faubert has proved his point.

Faubert has publically expressed his desire to leave his current club, Bordeaux and join up with the rest of the world’s elite in the Premiership, citing Arsenal’s French fullback Gael Clichy as one of the reason.

‘I have never hidden that a move to The Premiership would be my dream,’ Faubert told skysports.com.

‘More than a dream, it is a priority.’

‘Everything attracts me there. The passion, the fighting spirit, the duels. Arsenal are my favourite club, I hope that one day, I could join them.

‘Yes, Gael Clichy, who has started his career with me at AS Cannes academy plays there. It would be so great to play again with him.’

The 23 year old also he is a big fan of the English supporters.

‘I love the stadiums, the fans?they just make me shiver!’

I’m always sceptical of any player who prostitutes himself to another club (are you listening Jose?) to me it suggests selfishness, disloyalty, disregard for team spirit and a complete disrespect to their current club. No doubt Arsene has already told him where to go!
