It’s all becoming a bit boring now really isn’t it? Kylian Mbappe is joining Arsenal one day then isn’t the next etc. etc.

All things considered it doesn’t actually seem his heart would be in it at Arsenal, should the Gunners manage to stump up his world record fee and bring him to North London – an amount in itself that would, as good as Mbappe looks to be, prove football’s well and truly gone mad.

Real Madrid are seen as the club Mbappe has his heart set on, Arsenal could be a ‘stepping stone’ to this but it might end with Paris Saint Germain the club used in the meantime.

According to Goal.com, PSG hadn’t been that interested in the French international. However, the appointment of Antero Henrique as their sporting director has changed things.

Reportedly meeting Paris-born Mbappe’s father on a couple of occasions, PSG have made a ?135m bid to Ligue 1 rivals Monaco, some £118.4m, in a bid to lure the in-demand forward to the Parc des Princes.

Ultimately, if Madrid refuse to meet Mbappe’s current asking price and Monaco, where had has another two years on his present contract, do indeed sell, it was claimed this potential move across France would be seen as a ‘springboard’ to eventually landing this dream move to the Spanish giants.
