It seems like a life-time since that glorious day at Wembley when Arsene Wenger hoisted the FA Cup trophy high above his head to the delight of Arsenal fans everywhere.

Indeed, a lot has happened since then, we`ve watched a fantastic World Cup (seeing three Arsenal players come back World Cup winners), we`ve witnessed Arsene go bonkers in the transfer window (hopefully a little more bonkers still to come) and just a couple of days ago the mighty Gunners bagged another shiny pot with an emphatic 3-0 over the current Premier League champions on a victorious return to Wembley only 85 days after winning the FA Cup (yes, I`m still milking it).

Even with all that to take our mind away from the lack of real football, the summer has dragged, but there`s no need to be miserable any more as the return of the PL is only three days away as Arsenal host Crystal Palace on the opening day of the season (in one of those pesky tea-time kick offs we seem to struggle so much with).

With a new season comes the opportunity to get the Vital Arsenal forums up and running again after a summer of inactivity, we get to discuss starting line-ups, possible out comes and just as importantly, how much we hate Tony Pulis.

And we do.

So we welcome back the traditional Vital Arsenal match discussion threads, and you can find the thread for the 2014/15 season opener right here..

Happy days.
