After taking a beating at the hands of Arsenal in midweek, Real Madrid looked to get their season back on track when they traveled to Real Mallorca in La Liga yesterday.

The Spanish giants looked like they had got back on track when defender, Sergio Ramos headed home to make it 1-0 to the Galactico’s in the first half.

However, Madrid’s world came crashing down around their ears for the second time in a week when Leonardo Pisculichi slotted home a spot kick after Real’s goal scorer conceded a penalty.

Worse was to come when ten minutes from time Juan Arango fired home the winner and all but ended Real Madrid’s hopes of winning the title.

Real Madrid’s season somewhat mirror’s the Gunner’s in terms of inconsistancy. The inability to put a run together has cost both teams dearly.
