Arsenal’s involvement in this season’s League Cup, having been granted passage through the second round due to European involvement, begins at Nottingham Forest tonight when we should come up against a familiar face.

Free agent Lord Bendtner signed for the Championship side recently with a start possible tonight for Forest, who saw off Millwall in the second round to set up this tie.

I think we can almost certainly say Arsene Wenger will ‘use his squad’ as this will be the least of the priorities this season but a win would still be wanted with those coming in having a chance to impress in a competition that will be the (only for some) source of football this season.

What will happen in this one though?

Cast your vote so we know if you think it’ll be all smiles or disappointment for Arsenal come the full time whistle.
