The opening Champions League match Arsenal face tonight is arguably the toughest we’ll face in the group too at Paris Saint Germain, but having Laurent Koscielny fit is a boost to these chances.

Doubts over his involvement were raised following the Premier League win over Southampton with Arsene Wenger rating him as ‘doubtful’ after he took a knock to the face when colliding with Jose Fonte, who had been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer.

Koscielny, who scored a fine acrobatic goal to draw Arsenal level at the time, was given additional time off after his involvement with France at Euro 2016 so he’s not played as much as others so far but he trained on Monday so should be fit.

Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez also trained with the trio set for involvement in the squad at the Parc des Princes tonight with Koscielny’s involvement a definite boost for the Gooners against the French Champions, who haven’t made the best of stats to the season with the loss of some key personnel perhaps weakening them?
