Thierry Henry warned Patrick Vieira’s Juventus that Arsenal will be no push over and that anything can happen on the night.

Arsenal face Juventus in a momentus clash in the Champion’s League quarter finals, but Henry is all too aware that football is a funny old game and all is possible.

Henry said, ‘I am sure it will be really strange for him, the place will go crazy when he steps out on the pitch. He was more than a great servant for the club.

‘I’m sure it will be a bit special for him to come back. People might still fancy Juventus to go through because of their history, because they are top of their league and because they don’t lose that often, but we have shown it is what happens on the night.

‘We respect Juventus a lot but it will be who wants it the most on the night. You never know in football.’

  • I really think we can do this. Particularly if we’re maintaining our current form and therefore our confidence. Bring it on Paddy!

  • Yes knock off Juve after you give us a point or three at Fratton. Against you one day, behind you the next.

  • if we keep our cool and show as much passion as we have done in the past couple of games we can do it!!

  • your having a laugh, you roll over fulham and boro, then madrid who are playing like boro this season and you think you can beat the likes of barca and Juve, your a one man show and sooner or later a big game will happen whe he does not score, and youll be in the toilet.
You lot know viera better then anyone, and you know none of you fag midfield will get past him.
good luck in your camel jockey stadium next year.

  • You might be catching Juve at a good time, they were very lucky to get through! However, Real and Juve are 2 completely different animals, I am looking for Juve to go through 4-1 on aggregate. Think Patrick will be up for it?

  • Paddy will be well up for it. But then again, so will all 22 men on the pitch (unless Cygan plays…). It’s all about the opening 15 minutes and who can stamp their authority on the game first. I think it will prove to be a very interesting two legs that will be closer than ‘Arsenal Haters’ give us credit for.

  • Not an “Arsenal Hater” just a realist. As you say, the youngsters need a good opening 15, or else.

  • Are you one of the ‘realists’ that fails to accept that Barca ouplayed you over the two legs and deserved to win? Or are you actually a realist?

  • You’re the first Chelsea fan I know to have admitted that. Good man. Your opinions have just gone up in my estimation. I know we’ll have a tough game against Juve, but I honestly don’t think we’ll get hammered, even if we do go out.

  • Hopefully it will be as entertaining as the 0-0, glad my opinions have gone up in your estimation!
