With proper football returning today and the end of the season in sight Arsene Wenger would hope to have his squad at full strength as he holds on to his slim title chances.

But this is Arsenal so of course we`re never going to be at full strength.

As the game fast approaches the gaffer has given the injury update (he actually gave it a day or two ago but as explained I haven`t been around).

It`s arguable that our downfall coincided almost exactly with the injury to Santi Cazorla, and whilst the Spaniard has started running again Le Boss says he`s still a few weeks away.

“Santi has started to run, but is still a few weeks away I think. I hope [he will play again this season] because he has started to run. We have to always be a bit cautious, because you never know how people will respond to training sessions, but at the moment he looks like he has a chance to be completely fit to respond again before the end of the season, and to be competitive.”

Meanwhile both Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini are out this weekend but could hopefully return in a week.

“Ramsey will not be available for this weekend, but hopefully next weekend. Flamini is short for this weekend but could be available next weekend.”

In better news Petr Cech is back training and could feature today after pulling a hammy going up for a corner a few weeks ago.

“Cech will join in training today, but I haven`t decided if he will be in the squad or not.”

If we are to win the league this season this injury articles need to become almost non-existent from now till the end of May.
