Arsene Wenger has revealed that Arsenal are already in crisis before a ball has even been kicked in anger.
With Lauren, Djourou & Clichy injured and Campbell now departed (relaesed, not dead you realise) the news that Phileppe Senderos will be out for 3 months has left Wenger rocking with defensive worries. The possibility that Ashley Cole will leave being more than likely means we are already as troubled as we were last season.
Le Boss gave the grim news.
‘We have lost Senderos for the next three months and Johan Djourou and Gael Clichy have had injuries,’ he said.
‘If we find a player who can play centre back, left back then we are still open.’
It was also pointed out the Freddie Ljungberg is injured but we have more than enough cover in that area.
‘Freddie has had an inflammation in his foot,’ said Wenger.
‘We have to check it with a scan. We will see.’
