Arsene Wenger has delivered his customary pre-match injury news update ahead of the critical clash against Liverpool tomorrow.

Arsenal`s well documented injury list has always been a great source of scrutiny before each match as we wait with baited breath for news of who is, and isn`t, alright to play.

Jack Wilshere was missing from the 2-0 over Crystal Palace last week but Wenger says he should be ok for tomorrow`s massive game. He also gave Mikel Arteta the all clear after the Spaniard was seen limping towards the end of the Palace match.

The team news is basically similar to the squad that was available in our last game against Crystal Palace. We might have Wilshere back and that’s basically it.” Said Wenger in his pre-match presser.

“It’s important to have as many players back as possible in the squad. In the big games it is always decided by having the complete squad available. As many top players as possible because most of the time these games are decided by players who come on or strong players who have a big statement in a big game.”

On Mikel Arteta “He`s alright.”
