Yesterday saw some heated discussion about Kevin Nolan’s revelations that he instructed his players to give Theo Walcott ‘a little kick’ to try and get his head out of the game.

Most Arsenal fans were outraged by the comments, whilst many neutral supporters claimed there was still room for some rough and tumble in the sport and in no uncertain terms told us to stop whinging.

Well last night proved just what can happen when these shit-kicking cloggers use their rough-house tactics to compensate for their lack of skill after Man Utd youngster, Rodrigo Possebon, was left with a suspected broken leg.

I don’t think that I was alone in hoping the horrendous injury suffered by Eduardo earlier this season would be an eye opener to the PL & FA and would see horror tackles like this severely punished, but lenient punishments for players like Barton and Guthrie just shows how small the governing bodies testicles are.

Should confirmation be received of a broken Possesbon leg, then Nolan should be held just as accountable as Pogatetz.

Here’s to wishing Possebon a speedy recovery.

Edit – News just in that the United youngster’s leg is NOT broken. Some good news at least.
