After revelations that Henry has once again been overlooked for European & World player of the year awards, it has emerged this afternoon that the Arsenal captain has been voted the ‘Vital Arsenal World Player Of The Year`.

This prestigious and much coveted award has been won for his impressive goal tally in England, Europe and the world, his reaching of both European & World Cup finals and general brilliance.

Henry is constantly overlooked for his achievements and despite recently becoming Arsenal`s all time leading scorer and is now only 2 goals shy of becoming his national team’s equivalent.

And for this, we feel Thierry Henry needs recognition.

The votes are in, and have been counted, and Henry came first, second and third with a massive 100% of the votes. A recount was ordered, yet the results came back the same. The members of the ‘Vital Arsenal editors named Paul Mustchin` group had been voting in their one`s, and the Arsenal skipper came out all victorious.

The beautiful award is made from 100% solid paper, it took thirteen weeks and several hundred man minutes to perfect.

We hope to have word from Thierry as soon as the award arrives at the Shenley training ground, second class post permitting.

Well done Mr. Henry.
