Henry Stories Were ‘Invented’

Personally I’m getting sick of Thierry Henry transfer rumours, it’s boring, but I guess it’s our job to bring you the news so here goes.

The lazy hacks couldn’t have been more predictable if they’d have tried. Only minutes after the news that Stan Kroenke had bought 9.9% of Arsenal shares had broke, news articles were appearing that Henry was to be sold in the summer.

Henry himself was concerned with the stories and went to see Le Boss.

Arsene Wenger takes up the story.

“The story is wrong, I had a chat with Thierry this morning. He asked me whether I`d read the newspapers. I`d not heard about his story. But it`s completely invented. He`s clear, he wants to stay. I`m clear, I want him to stay. So that story has been created.

“He wanted to make it obvious to everybody. I was not concerned because I know the day Thierry Henry wants to leave he will knock at my door and say: ‘Listen, I want to go somewhere.` As long as he didn`t do that [I wasn`t worried].”

Now please, this crap has been going on for far too long and it’s getting mundane.
