Henry Statement

Thierry Henry has issued a statement to Sky Sports News after deciding the phrase ‘Who do I owe, and for what?’ was not the best to use.

Earlier Thierry Henry was angered after his commitment was called into question by journolists, he fumed ‘Who do I owe, and for what?’, but has since decided that it did not sound as it was intended.

When he heard of the negative headlines planned for tomorrow’s papers, Henry moved to let his fans know just how much they mean to him.

‘What I heard might be used, you know that I don’t owe my fans anything, I think above all what I came out to talk about was the semi-final of the Champions League and some people try to stitch me up to my fans,’ Henry told Sky Sports News.

‘I have a great relationship with my fans, I love them, I hope they do love me. I just think, its difficult to explain, I think it was inappropriate.’

I hope Arsenal fans are switched on enough to know a lame hack headline when they see one, and realise Thierry Henry is, and always will be an Arsenal legend.
