Salt and vinegar. Morrissey and Marr. Pornography and shame. There are just some things that should never be divorced. Thierry Henry and Arsenal are about as golden carriage as a love affair gets and the record goalscorer hasn`t ruled out a third return to the club of his heart, whether it be as a player or as a coach.

Henry scored 226 Arsenal goals in a prolific spell with the club between 1999 and 2007, which also saw him net six player of the year awards, three golden boots, two Premier League titles, three F.A. Cups, break the Arsenal goalscoring record and in the summer of 2008, he was voted Arsenal`s Greatest Player Ever by readers of arsenal.com. Having been unable to secure the signature of Lukas Podolski till the summer, Arsene brought him in from current club New York Red Bulls last January and the 34 year old Frenchman netted a winner against Leeds in the F.A. Cup on his return game, as well as a last minute winner against Sunderland in the Premier League.

But the dashing French striker insists his relationship with the club might not yet be done, “‘I would like to go back to England with Arsenal for sure,’ Henry said when asked about a second loan stint with the Gunners.

‘I wasn’t planning to go back to play last season. It was only because Gervinho and (Marouane) Chamakh went to the African Nations Cup.

‘I was there to train and they asked me if I wanted to play. Who knows what might happen in the future?

‘I’ve not yet spoken to Arsene (Wenger) about it so I don’t know what capacity I could go back in.

‘Coaching does interest me but I don’t know what my talent is going to be after I have finished my career. But I will go back to Arsenal.’
The outrageous flirt!
