Arsenal captain, Thierry Henry, fired France into a world cup semi final last night after he scored the games only goal.

Brazil had been hotly tipped to oust the winners from 1998 but didn’t have things their own way. Henry stole in at the back post to volley home a Zinedane Zidane free kick, in what was to be revenge over Ronaldinho for the Champions League final.

And who says Henry goes missing in big games?

  • That was a stunner if you saw the news of the world how dida looke when henry shot it was wonderful

  • is this counted as a zidane assist….coz if it is then it’ll be henry’s first goal frm a zidane assist….he truly is “le god”…

  • even I cheered that goal, mind you it’s only because I didn’t want Brazil to win it could have been Mickey Mouse scoring from Disneyland for all I cared.

  • Surely not. As Spurs fans always remind us, Henry is useless because he can’t score in big games. It isn’t even remotely possible that they could be wrong!?

  • i was soo proud of henry and it must of meant alot to him. goodluck to him and france in the final this could be some of their players last chances
