Arsene Wenger has confirmed the news we were all expecting that Olivier Giroud will be out of action till the new year.
The Arsenal manager revealed that the French striker actually underwent surgery on the ankle today and will miss out on the rest of 2014.
He said following Arsenal victorious match against Besiktas “Giroud had successful surgery today. He is out competitively until end of December or the beginning of January.”
This news will encourage all kinds of transfer debates and will at the very least mean we`re all staying up till 11pm next Monday night.
