Arsenal’s Keiran Gibbs completed his expected move away from the club yesterday and the destination was West Bromwich Albion.

West Brom head coach Tony Pulis was tracking him earlier this month but we reportedly rejected a £10million offer from them and he entered into various other talks with clubs, but after interest from Watford broke down, it was said West Brom came back in with a deal at £7million and Arsenal accepted it to get it over the line given the proximity to the deadline window closing.

Officially from Arsenal the fee is undisclosed and he leaves having been with the club for a decade after progressing through our Academy with 230 first team games to his name.

Last season the 27 year old also skippered us in the League Cup, as he made 22 appearances through the year.

He also won ten England caps whilst with us and he moves on with the club’s best wishes.
