Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has been fined £6,000 and warned about his future conduct after an offensive post on social networking site twitter. Frimpong responded to a Spurs` fans post to the Ghana born Arsenal player that he would pray Frimpong broke his arms and legs. Frimpong retweeted the post to his followers adding the words, “Scum Yid” in reply.

The charge was issued last week under F.A. rule E3 which deals with “language and / or behaviour amounting to improper conduct.”

‘Frimpong posted comments amounting to improper conduct and/or which brought the game into disrepute, which included a reference to faith,’ read a statement from the FA.
