Arsenal midfielder, Freddie Ljungberg, says the team have been left shattered by last nights result.

For the second consecutive season, Liverpool have beaten Arsenal at Anfield with the late late show.

?We were devastated then and we are devastated now,? said Ljungberg.

?It was not the most beautiful game in the world between two sides that needed the points and we are disappointed to concede in the 87th minute. It is hard.

?We always knew it was a difficult game but we came here to win it. It is always tough here. Look even two or three years ago and we had problem here. The main thing in the end was we made a mistake and they scored a goal. That cost us dearly.

?They played a physical game against us with a lot of long balls. It is our responsibility to get the ball down. Perhaps at the moment we are a little bit scared to hold the ball and we kick it long aswell. That is not our way and our strength.?

It was also Arsenal 9th defeat of the season, a statistic that could put paid to Arsenal Champions League ambitions next season.

?That is definitely too many,? said Ljungberg. ?I don’t look at the rest of the away games, they have been poor, but Liverpool at Anfield is always difficult. In the end I think that both sides maybe deserved to get one point.

?It is now 10 points [between Arsenal and Liverpool] and it is hard but we have them and Tottenham at home. Maybe we can make that smaller.?
