Arsenal’s 8th left back of the season, Mathieu Flamini, says last night’s incredible victory in Madrid is the greatest night of his career.

The French midfielder is still only 21 and, if he stays with Arsenal will have many more nights like these, but upto press, that was the best.

When asked if it was the best moment of his career, he replied ?Yes it is,?

?It is very, very, very nice. To play in the Santiago Bernabeu, a magic stadium, and against a magic team, it is just a dream for a young player like me.

?I was not nervous but we tried to stay sharp and I think we did it well. Against a big team like Real Madrid we have to concentrate for 90 minutes. I think that we did that so it was a good performance.

?We were good tactically so it was difficult for them to play. It was a great victory. We are the first English team to win here but the most difficult part will be at Highbury. That will be a very hard game but I believe in myself.?

It is always difficult for a any player to play out of position, but Flamini has coped admirably, and probably the best of the left back stand-in’s.
