Arsenal starlet, Cesc Fabregas, says he will return to his home land to play in La Liga at some point in his career.

However, he moved to assure Arsenal fans that he his 100% commited to the club and is happy here in London.

Real Madrid have been linked with Cesc this week, but this was always going to happen as they travel to Highbury for the return leg in the Champion’s League. Fabregas says he is flattered by the link.

‘It’s a source of pride and happiness for me that a team like Real Madrid are interested in me,’

‘I know that a lot of people are talking about it but no one has approached me. However, it’s always nice that people talk about you in this way.’

‘All that matters at the moment is Arsenal and there will be time to talk about everything else in the future.

‘Real are our rivals and I hope we can beat them, but I can’t deny that they are a great team with some great players.’

Cesc then, rather worryingly, went on to speak about his future, and ominously said that if a move didn’t happen next season, then it would one day.

‘It (returning to Spain) is something I’ve always had in my head because although I’m happy here (in England) it isn’t my country and you always miss your own one.

‘I don’t know what will happen, but if it doesn’t happen next season it will happen in another because I want to play in the Spanish league one day.’

Should Fabregas move to another club, the only small mercy is that he recently signed a new contract that will tie him to Arsenal till 2011, meaning if someone (probably Barca) want him, then they will have to pay top whack.
