Earlier in the week, Real Madrid president wannabe, Ramon Calderon, claimed he and Fabregas had reached a deal that would take the wonder kid to the Bernabeau. Today Cesc dismissed the rumours as complete bollocks.

Ok, so he didn’t use those words exactly, but he may as well have done. He also said that he’s happy to be a gooner.

‘I can’t do anything about it [the speculation], obviously my name came out every day and they involved me [in the elections campaign],’ he told Catalan daily Sport.

‘However, I was only thinking about the World Cup.

‘I am an Arsenal player right now and I am very happy and at ease there. I don’t need anything else.

‘I am very happy with how things are going.’

This comes as great news to worrying Arsenal fans who were fearing the worst.

I on the other hand had every faith in the youngman 😉

  • Who aint they after from the preimership.Robben,Ronaldo now Fabregas. I think they end up with one of them they always seem to get who they want.

  • Fabulous knows that without Arsene he would still be in the Barca youth, he wouldnt of played in the CL final and wouldnt of seen the WC till he was 23 at the best. His loyaltys are with AW

  • every time a player starts playing well they get linked with real madrid , i would just take it as a complement as it prob wont happen

  • seems like every arsenal player these days gets linked to real madrid, they havent won anything for a while now who would go there

  • Fabregas is staying cause i think of thierry henry he always says he is an inspiration now that henry is staying fabregas will then stay
