England have avoided some very tough groups in the draw for the European Championships 2008 qualification stages.

England are up against Croatia, Russia, Isreal, Estonia, Macedonia and Andorra. It could have been much worse with the possiblity of being drawn with Germany, Scotland, Italy or Spain a very close run thing.

The top two teams from each group will qualify automatically, and there will be no qualification via plays off this year.
