There has been a lot of accusations flying around the media this last couple of weeks regarding possible drugs cheats in the Premier League. Arsenal`s name was mentioned (which the club categorically denied) and if we were looking at possible Gunners drug takers I`d suggest testing Arsenal new boy Mohammed Elneny.

Following the 3-3 draw with West Ham at the weekend Elneny (which I genuinely like and think is looking like a proper player) made a few remarks that lead me to believe he`s smashed out of his mind!

The energetic midfielder said that Arsenal will fight to the very end to win the league and that we should look at the final outcome.

“We will fight until the end, until the last game in the league, to achieve what we want. Let`s see the final outcome then,”

“Today [Saturday] we wanted to snatch the win even though we were playing against a strong team. Maybe the final result is not this much in our favour, however we are doing our best in each game.
“We conceded two goals at a very hard time. We should have ended the first half 2-1 up but the equalising goal came at a very crucial moment.”

“At the start of the second half we started organising our team to win the game and step up our performance, however we conceded a third goal so we tried and pushed to get an equaliser. We finally did that but we couldn`t snatch the win in the end.”

“We are fighting for the league title, this is why we had to play in an offensive mode to win the game, but thanks God for the final result. The best is yet to come.”

I`m pretty sure I can tell you the final outcome.

Arsenal will not win the league. No way, no how.

We should have ended the half 2-0 up, not 2-1, yet more amateurish defending has cost again.

Arsenal will fight to win every game till the end of the season, that`s their job, but the very best we can hope for is to finish above Spurs.

I know his comments were well meaning but the damage has been done, it`s ground hog day, and if God truly were a Gooner you would hope he could muster up a better result that 3-3 with Andy Carroll scoring a hat-trick.

I won`t be thanking anyone for that result.

Vital Arsenal does not think Mohammed Elneny takes drugs, it’s all a bit tongue in cheek.
