Newcastle United`s Kieran Dyer admits that his team will come to Ashburton Grove and play anti-football in an attempt to get something out of the game on Saturday.

Newcastle beat Arsenal 1-0 in the reverse of this fixture last season by kicking seven shades of a certain excrement out of the Arsenal. Now the injury-prone striker says that Newcastle must “get in Arsenal`s faces” in order to get something from the game.

‘I said after the Portsmouth game in the Carling Cup that we had to get six points from Charlton and Sheffield United, and we got one.

“That’s not good enough,’ said Dyer. ‘We’ve got to be brave, play to our maximum and get the fans on our side.

“We’ve got to show our battling qualities at Arsenal tomorrow. Arsenal’s home form hasn’t been the greatest this season, and if we can frustrate them and get in their faces, then who knows?’

The very fact that teams play anti-football is bad enough but for an international player to come out and openly say that they fully intend to travel to a ground and do it is beyond appalling.

Well Mr Dyer, if that`s your attitude then perhaps it`s time Arsenal unleashed a certain Julio Baptista in midfield. We`ve seen you talk the talk and we`ve seen you walk into a goal post, but can you walk the walk Kieran?

We`ll see on Saturday wing nut!
