Do you want the good news or the bad news first?

Good news?

OK.

Arsene Wenger has revealed that Robin the deadly Dutchman will feature in the pretty much meaningless match against Steaua Bucharest tomorrow (that leads me to think he’s being made available for the Chelsea game) after finally returning from a long lay off.

Arsenal have being somewhat lacking in the forward department since van Persie was ruled out through injury, and despite being the joint leading top scorer in the league, Adebayor’s performances seem to be getting worse, so RvP’s valuable skills will be a most welcome edition to this recently defeated squad.

Now for the bad news.

Jens Lehmann has been reinstated as the Arsenal #1 for tomorrows Champions League clash.

In goalkeeping terms this is no bad thing (unless the dude goes mental and starts trying to wreck the joint) as the German number 1 (or is it number 2 now?) is definitely a decent stopper. No, the real reason I ain’t so hot on the idea is Mad Jens’ attitude and disrespect he has shown to his team mates, his manager & the club in general.

I honestly though Lehmann would never be given the priveledge of wearing the famous Arsenal jersey again.

I wonder if the move is to give the current Arsenal keeper a rest, or whether it’s a longer term thing, as, in my honest opinion, Almunia has proved that he is nothing more than an average player so far this season.

Only time will tell!
