Midfielder Francis Coquelin has been previewing the Champions League clash against Ludogorets this Wednesday evening.

Sitting at the top of Group A as we go into back to back matches against the Bulgarian side, Coquelin explained to the Official Site that everybody in the camp knew how important the game at the Emirates Stadium was, as maximum points from these games could be ‘massively important’ to topping the group as we qualify.

‘We`re all conscious of that. It`s a massive game, especially as it is at home. We know we`re going to have two more tough games away too, against Ludogorets and Basel, plus a home game against Paris Saint-Germain. So it`s massively important to get the three points on Wednesday.’

Speaking more about himself he also confirmed he was now 100% fit following the knee injury he picked up against Chelsea, and he admitted he did fear the worst when it happened.

‘When you make these kinds of tackles, and this happened before against West Brom last season, you are a bit scared. It was a similar tackle to then. The good thing was that I could run back on to the pitch afterwards, even if I couldn`t stay on for long. The scan which followed was all positive so that was great news. It took me a few weeks to get back to full fitness, but now I feel good.’

With four points from the two games so far, and a better against goal difference seeing us sit ahead of Paris Saint-Germain, the Ludogorets double could well be key.
