As you all know, we here at Vital Arsenal love a competition, and guess what?!? IT’S COMPETITION TIME!!!

After our recent article (Submitted by Goonerholic) on the subject of the ‘Prawn Sandwich Brigade’ I was contacted by author Paul French.

Paul has recently written a book titled ‘Prawns in the game’ it is an extensive look at everything that is wrong with our national sport. After a brief chat Paul agreed to stump up three book (Rrp £9.99) for us to give away in a lovely competition.

But before we get to the nitty gritty here is a few words from Paul French’s website explaining what his book is all about.

Are you losing interest in football? Do you think it’s sick that some players earn more in a day than you do in a year? Does it boil your blood that some clubs are now charging 50p-a-minute to watch a football match? Then you’ve come to the right place.

Prawns in the Game is the book for everyone who thinks that there’s something rotten in the state of football today. So, if you feel like punching Ashley Cole, or throwing eggs at Arsenal’s new corporate mega dome or leaving stink bombs in the offices of The FA, the Premier League and G14, then this is the book for you.

Prawns in the Game will help you understand how football has ended up where it is today. From the formation of the very first football club to the glut of overseas investors throwing their Roubles and Dollars into the Premiership, Prawns in the Game tells the story of how football went from being a game played for the love of sport to the multi-million pound behemoth it is now.

Prawns in the Game is the only book about the commercialisation of football written by a fan for the fans. You’ll laugh, you’ll get angry and you’ll find out: how did the prawn sandwich brigade take over the national sport?

So if you’re intested in reading this innovative book, enter this competition (or go out and buy it if you don’t win.)

Ok, so to stand a chance of winning all you need to do is follow the link to our forum, find the thread for this article (it’s in News & Media section) and think of a caption for the picture in that thread.

I will pick the funniest three.

Good luck folks.

Prawns in the game is out on the 2nd Novemeber and will be available at all good book shops for £9.99
