It’s being reported that Leicester City have failed with a £20million bid for Calum Chambers, and also that Lucas Perez interests Everton.

Sky Sports say that Craig Shakespeare sanctioned a £20million offer for Chambers but despite spending last season out on loan with Middlesbrough, he’s one man that Arsene Wenger wants to keep this season but of course being deadline day it could simply be a case of trying to push the price up.

There’s no suggestion yet that Leicester will be back with an improved offer.

As for Perez, they also report that although he’s available for transfer at the right price this window – and the speculation linking him with a move away hasn’t materialised – Ronald Koeman is trying to add him to his ranks, but as a loan signing.

They state Arsenal are ‘considering’ the offer, but the Spaniard has been pretty clear he wants to return to former club Deportivo La Coruna and it’s believed he’s sticking to that plan.

We’ll have to see if Deportivo firm up their speculated interest.

Alexis Sanchez rumours rumbled on and Sky also report that Manchester City have come back with another offer said to be worth around the £60million mark. As of yet it hasn’t forced Arsenal’s hand, but they have covered sketchy speculation suggesting we have reignited our interest in Monaco’s Thomas Lemar.
